An End.

All things come to an end. They're destined to. The people you cosset today may not be there tomorrow. The things that enrapture you today may be the cause of your dolor. The places and people you run to today with hope and ardor may be the places and people you will run away from for your own good. All the feelings and thoughts you harbor today in your heart may be distant and disconnected from you tomorrow. The rose that bloomed in your garden today would wither away tomorrow. There is just no telling whether today what remains would be there the next day.

The universe changes, things change, people change, places change, circumstances change. The only way to keep up with all this and not get lost is to change. Change is inexorable and parlous. You lose time, people, memories, experiences and often a piece of your heart but in the end it is vital for us to thrive. 

Since all must come to an end, cherish the time you get. The present is prized and yours. Accept the coda of life and make each moment you currently hold in your hand count.
