Eyes (Poem)

Look, hear and decipher,
What these eyes reveal.
Every moment, every second,
They just don't see, they feel.

Every pain is a tear
Stored like pearls in her eyes.
She knows when to shed them
And when to hide behind the lies.

Let these expansive eyes tell
Its enchanting unending stories
Of pain and love, fear and faith,
Of sorrow and joy and life's purest glories .

When shut, they create
A beautiful world of their own.
Unaware of reality,
Lost in the land unknown.

These eyes hold the ocean,
Tales, deeper than the core.
Those fallen for them
Never returned to the shore.

These eyes possess powers
To nurture and destroy.
A glance is all it'll take
To kill or fill your heart with joy .

They focus with fire
And sparkle with victory .
They're calm yet fierce.
These eyes are a mystery.
